Looking for a perfect wedding gift for couples that love the outdoors, camping, and traveling? Do they prefer hiking, and heading out for an adventure VS fancy dinnerware? Here’s a list of 10 unique gift ideas for your nature-loving friends to prep them for their biggest adventure yet.
As an outdoor enthusiast and a Colorado wedding photographer, there’s nothing better than adventuring with your partner AND being comfortable in the process.
1. A Fun Print-Out Camera for your travels!
This would be such a fun addition to add to the fun bin! Document your travels and memories with a print-out camera. Try a Poloriod for something more classic or this new hybrid digital/instant camera!
Both cameras will take the Instax Polaroid photo paper. You could honestly take this anywhere like a backpacking camping trip or a trip abroad.
I feel like every time I go camping, there’s a fire ban in Colorado. A propane stove with an on-and-off switch is becoming a must-have and I can see why.
If fires aren’t a problem in your area, a solo stove is a great alternative! It’s portable and makes it easy to get a fire started anywhere.
I personally think Hammocks are a necessary item to have on any trip. Nothing like relaxing in the trees and breeze! My favorite is my Eno hammock which I can wrap around two trees.
The Eno Doublenest can fit up to two people, but I still recommend you each have your own for optimal comfort. That’s a relationship 101. You will have to buy the straps separately.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to a cup of coffee while camping. This Stanley French Press is perfect for camping. Pair that with a fire pit or your propane stove and you can pretty much honeymoon in your backyard.
If they’re looking for a new adventure, a blowup kayak is a fun place to start! You can either go with two single kayaks or go with a tandem. That will really test the relationship!
Do you want a little piece of mind for their safety when they’re out of cell service? A GPS would be a great gift for hiking couples or something like an All Trails Pro subscription for offline maps on their phone.
7. A cozy blanket + 2-person chair: for the car camping or van life couple
Walkie-talkies can be such a fun gift. I feel like couples who ski would love to have a pair of these for on the mountain or bring on trips.
Hi! I'm Kelsey!
My photography journey started in 2009 when I fell in love with documenting moments and capturing people in their element.
11 years ago, I moved to the amazing little mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado from Raleigh, North Carolina.
Wild to say I've photographed over 300 weddings and portrait sessions all over. I started this small but mighty team of local mountain photographers to capture whatever season of life you're in.
