photographing all the moments
you can't put into words
My photography journey started in 2009, and I fell in love with documenting moments and capturing people in their element.
14 years ago, I moved to the amazing little mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado, from Raleigh, North Carolina.
Wild to say I've photographed over 300 weddings and portrait sessions all over. I started this small but mighty team of local mountain photographers to capture whatever season of life you're in.
think of your elopement as your best. date. ever.
What's been your favorite date? Camping? A farmers market? A day on the water? A good hike? Think of your elopement as your best date ever. A day to do WHATEVER you want and HOWEVER you want.
Whether you're heading out in nature or thinking more cozy cabin vibes, your day should feel like you.
We don't have a limit on number of guests to be considered an 'elopement.' Your guest count is an important thing to take into account when choosing your location as rules may vary.
This is your day to let your personality shine.
Most elopements are 3-5 hours (but can be a whole weekend), depending on what you want your day to look like. Send me your vision, and I'll help build a timeline that fits your plans.
Making you feel like yourself is my #1 goal. We'll plan your day with intention so the day feels natural. That's one of my favorite things about elopements in the mountains: the view does the work.
Elopement location suggestions depend on the time of year, logistics (like permits needed), and the weather! We're constantly checking our favorite locations for mud, fresh snow, or wildflowers, and we'll provide suggestions based on that. Since we're based in Breckenridge, we can always keep a close eye on things!
The Summit County Clerk & Recorder is right in downtown Breckenridge, and the fee is $39. Appointments are required, and slots are limited. In Colorado, you can self-solemnize, so no officiant or witness is required.
Elopements starting at $2,250
Let's take your vision and bring it to life
Reach out and tell me what you have planned. No idea yet? I'll share my favorite spots and help you figure out the day from scratch.

Kelsey was so much fun to work with from the start. Her photos are amazing, she’s so fun to be around, and we loved trading stories about our dogs. We live in WI and were planning a CO elopement, so Kelsey’s elopement guide was so useful. We used this guide to find our caterer, bakery, hair stylist & makeup artist and to plan our timeline.
Kelsey helped to make our day everything we wanted it to be, she was so much fun, and the photos turned out AMAZING. Once she sent the final gallery, we sat down with a glass of wine and were able to re-live the most wonderful day. I couldn’t believe how perfectly she captured everything.
We'll deliver an online gallery full of beautiful images within 5 weeks. Feel free to share with all your friends and family!
Once it's official, we'll send you our elopement guide and questionnaire to start putting the pieces together. We'll go over permits needed, best lighting and other logistics!
Let us design a custom photobook or album from your elopement! These heirlooms are meant to last to pass to your next generation.
I can't wait to hear what you're planning for your elopement and what's important to you. We'll start brainstorming to bring your vision to life.

Don't forget why you wanted to elope in the first place! Write down a few things that are important to you and your partner. Are there activities or people that you want to incorporate? Traditions? Your own twist?
How do you want to get to your location? Think about the logistics like will you be walking/hiking in? In the backyard? In a park? In a remote mountain location? Do you want to be able to park and do minimal walking?
Think of your vision for your day. Do you want to wear something casual, traditional or something totally different? What does the weather look like? Are you indoors? Outdoors in nature? We'll piece together a custom location and make your vision come to life.
Skiing, hiking, dog sledding, mountain biking, sailing, snow-mobiling, the list goes on for fun and unique outdoor activities you could add into your day if you love adventure and adrenaline.
In the summer, Lake Dillon is one of my favorite places to spend the day. Rent a kayak, hop on a boat, or just walk along the shoreline. Pair that with a concert at the Dillon Amphitheatre, and you have yourself a perfect summer day.
Some couples celebrate with a walk and dinner in town, while others book a private chef or pizza at their cabin or Airbnb. Don't forget this is your day to do whatever. you. want.
Want to spend the day out of cell service? There are so many places to explore, whether you're jeeping, camping or having a bonfire.
