These two. From their teary eyed first look, to their teary eyed ceremony to their last song, this whole day was pure magic. I brought the cold weather from Colorado and South Carolina surprised us with a freezing cold day, but that didn’t stop these two from having the best day of their lives. The Oldfield Plantation is one of the most magical venues I’ve ever seen. Live oaks covered in Spanish moss everywhere you look, a dock overlooking the Okatie River; this venue was a little piece of southern heaven. Colorado has its mountains, but there’s nothin’ like southern hospitality, sweet tea and of course, collard greens.

My family grew up taking beach trips to Hilton Head/Beaufort and my dad stealing moss every chance he could get. Brought back allll the feels. It didn’t hurt being able to spend a weekend with old friends roaming the streets of Savannah, Georgia and spending time by the water. Hopefully now if you’ve never made your way to the ‘Low Country’ you’re thinking twice about your next trip.
