Hi! I'm Kelsey!
My photography journey started in 2009, and I fell in love with documenting moments and capturing people in their element.
After 14 years in Breckenridge, Colorado, I've moved back to North Carolina and am now based in Topsail.
I've photographed over 300 weddings, and I love documenting intimate weddings and elopements along the Carolina coast and in the Colorado mountains.

How many hours do I need for my elopement?
Most elopements are 3-5 hours (but can be a whole weekend), depending on what you want your day to look like. Send me your vision, and I'll help build a timeline that fits your plans.
what if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
Making you feel like yourself is my #1 goal. We'll plan your day with intention so the day feels natural. That's one of my favorite things about elopements in the mountains: the view does the work.
Where can we elope near Topsail Beach?
Topsail Beach, Surf City, and the surrounding coast have some beautiful spots for intimate ceremonies. The best location depends on your guest count, the time of year, and any permits or restrictions. I'm happy to help you narrow down your options.
Can we include family and friends in our elopement?
Of course! Elopements don't have to mean just the two of you. Whether you're planning a private ceremony or celebrating with a handful of your favorite people, we'll make sure your day feels like you.

Don't forget why you wanted to elope in the first place! Write down a few things that are important to you and your partner. Are there activities or people that you want to incorporate? Traditions? Your own twist?
How do you want to get to your location? Think about the logistics like will you be walking/hiking in? In the backyard? In a park? In a remote mountain location? Do you want to be able to park and do minimal walking?
Think of your vision for your day. Do you want to wear something casual, traditional or something totally different? What does the weather look like? Are you indoors? Outdoors in nature? We'll piece together a custom location and make your vision come to life.
