“Here’s to all the great places we went. And here’s to all the great places we’ll go. And here’s to me whispering again and again and again and again: I love you.”
I still can’t get over this day and how perfect it was. I swear I feel like crying tears of happiness on the drive home after every wedding. I guess that must mean I’m in the right industry?!
Shanna and Aaron had the perfect DIY wedding day. Her friend, Lena, did an AMAZING job on her hair, her dress..$150!! An Oreo stacked wedding cake and the cutest picnic set up.
We started the day off just outside of Breckenridge. Talk about a mountaintop wedding. I mean, we were RIGHT there. It was awesome. Of course as the ceremony finished it started POUNDING us with snow (yes, on May 28th) and I mean pounding. The clouds rolled in so fast our gorgeous mountain views were out of site. So we headed to one of my favorite spots around Lake Dillon with the perfect view of Peak One in the background. Of course it was like 20 degrees warmer and looked like night and day. I was laughing so hard looking through all the photos thinking these were going to look like we drove to a different state or took them in two different seasons. Nope. Just a little bit of Colorado weather. 😉
Shanna and Aaron, THANK YOU for letting me be apart of your perfect day! You guys trusted me to find the perfect spot even when it came down to the wire and it was still SO snowy everywhere. You guys are so gracious and trusting and SO in love. Hurry back to Colorado! 🙂
I love out of state couples and helping them plan the perfect destination elopement. Whether you choose to have a winter elopement, mountaintop elopement, lakeside elopement or hike 5 miles to the perfect spot I love being apart of the whole process helping you plan every step. I love sharing all my favorite secret spots around Summit County and am always down for an adventure, if you are willing!
