This year is going by WAY to fast and I always seem to notice it’s a different month days into the month. Ha. Goal #1: set alerts for these goal blogposts.
It is FINALLY summertime (for the most part) in Summit County. Can I get a hell yeah?! We had our first camping trip of the summer and finally tried mountain biking! Our poor pup, Levi is still recovering as well as my buns. I still can’t get over the amount of things I never did while living in North Carolina and moving to Breckenridge and having so many new (expensive) hobbies.
May was awesome despite a little bit of gross weather and snow we had. Can y’all tell that I’m a little bitter about the snow in May?! Chris and I took a trip to Nashville, which was SO much fun! It was his birthday gift to see At the Drive In so we made a little week trip out of it. A week full of shoving BBQ, sweet tea and collard greens in my mouth, farmers markets and walking through adorable southern neighborhoods. I was in heaveeen. A memorial weekend camping trip in Buena Vista and ended May with the most amazing top secret elopement.
June is going to be even better! A road trip to Sedona, AZ before wedding season is in full swing.
onto the goals..
I promised myself ONE day I would become a morning person AND a runner. Lord. We’re starting from scratch here so who knows how this one could go. Most days I’m at my other job by 7AM, which doesn’t leave too much room for morning happiness. Any morning people have tips on how to get started?
Wake up earlier – 6AM when working – 7AM when not
Be in bed by 10
Couch to 5K app – 30 minutes 3x a week
Order personal photos to hang around the house
Build an easy patio table or find one to refinish
Go to a mountain bike clinic
