Dipping your toes into the photography world and getting your first ‘real’ camera?
I know the feeling of having no clue where to start! My first camera was an $80 camera from Goodwill and started my photography career with a Canon Rebel.
You can do a little ‘try before you buy’ by renting camera gear! I’ve done this my whole career whether I needed a backup camera for a wedding or needed to try out a camera I was considering. My favorite sites are borrowlenses.com and lensrental.com.
I found that Sony and Fujifilm cameras didn’t feel good in my hands. The Canon and Nikon felt a lot more natural, but that’s going to vary from person to person!
Here are some of the best cameras for beginner photographers to consider.
