2017 Goals

Happy New Year!

Oh, 2016..where do I even begin?! It was a challenging yet amazing year to say the least. I was faced with the most unexpected, hardest life changes and some amazing, priceless moments. Looking back, it’s probably one of my favorite years yet. I was thrown into a whole other life and clueless at where to begin, but ga, really learning how I wanted live my life was SO rewarding.

2016 was spent with more traveling (Paris, Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, Rome, Nashville, San Fransisco, North Carolina) moving to a different home, heartbreak, trying mountain biking for the first time, loosing one of our pups, watching one of my best friends get married, falling in love all over again and endless mountain adventures in this amazing place I get to call home.

New Years resolutions may be such cliché time for some, but gaaa do I love it! I really feel like it gives you a chance to restart and reflect on ALL the good and ALL the bad.

I did 5/12 monthly goals this year. Womp womp. But I’m totally ok with that. I’m just proud

2017 goals

+ Start the process to buying a home

+ Pay off all credit card debit

• This was a 2016 goal..and then I splurged a little too much on travels, but I’m SO close

+ Leave preschool job to go full time in photography (ah)

+ Take a financial class/workshop — create a personal & business budget

+ New Branding

• New website
• 12 month marketing plan
• New bridal guide

+ Taking care of my body

• Yoga
• Stop drinking so much soda
• Incorporate more veggies into my meals!
• Find some type of exercise I can really commit to and enjoy!

+ Plan a few road trips around the US

• Sedona, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon
• New Orleans
• Chris’ 30th Bday Disney World trip
• East coast food tour (yessssss)

 Man, are these grown up goals or what?! Really, I just want to keep improving myself. Keep learning, keep pushing, keep challenging, keep traveling — keep on keepin’ on!
